1. Inauguration of 19th Hornbill Festival.
Home Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the 19th Hornbill Festival in Nagaland on the 55th Nagaland State Day. The US Ambassador to India Kenneth Juster was invited as a guest of honor.
2. US, Mexico, and Canada sign USMCA to replace NAMC.
US President Donald Trump, Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto, and Canadian PM Justin Trudeau signed the new American-Mexico-Canada Accord (USMCA), which will replace the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).
3. CII Agro Tech India – 2018 inaugurated in Chandigarh.

4. Myanmar leader Aung San Suu Kyi was denied the Freedom of Paris award.
Myanmar’s leader Onang San Suu Kyi has been denied the Freedom of Paris award because of her failure to speak against a crackdown on Rohingyas Muslims. He has also been deprived of honorary Canadian citizenship and his “Ambassador of Conscience Award” by Amnesty International.
5. Australia is the first country to recognize ‘orphan children smuggling’ as a slave.
Australia has become the first country to recognize ‘orphan child trafficking’ as a slave. Children of small countries are admitted to orphanages in the west for the purpose of profit through foreign aid. According to estimates, 80% of the children living in orphanages of the world have at least one living parent.
6. Workshop organized by the government to develop ‘Ganga Museum’.
The National Mission for Clean Ganges organized a two-day international workshop on “Developing the concept of Ganga Museum: exchange of experiences and ideas between India and Europe in Delhi”.

America’s 41st President, George HW Bush, passed away at the age of 94. His son, George W. Bush also served as the 43rd President of the United States. He also served as US Vice President for eight years.
9. Britain’s new £ 50 note includes the name of Indian scientist Jagdish Chandra Bose.
The 50-pound new note to appear on the UK include Indian scientist Jagdish Chandra Bose. He was Born in India in 1858, Bose is credited with proving equality in plants and animal tissues.
10. American tourist killed in Nicobar.
