1. Reserve Bank of India will implement ‘Ombudsman Scheme’ from January 2019.
Reserve Bank of India has said that the Reserve Bank will implement an Ombudsman Scheme for digital transactions covering the services provided by the entities under regulatory jurisdiction.

The government of Pakistan has ordered 18 international NGOs to get out of the country and 20 other NGOs are threatening it. As reports, most of these NGOs are from America, UK, and European Union.
3. Germanwatch released the Climate Risk Index -2019.
Germanwatch released the Climate Risk Index -2019. In this index, India has been ranked 14th on the basis of climate-related events of the last 20 years.
The Germanwatch Global Climate Risk Index is an analysis based on one of the most reliable data sets available on the impacts of extreme weather events and associated socio-economic data.
4. A government-appointed Krishnamurthy Subramaniam as Chief Economic Advisor.
The government has appointed Dr. Krishnamurti Subramanyam as the new Chief Economic Advisor Dr. Subramanyam’s tenure will be three years. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has presented his name. She is currently working as an Associate Professor at the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.
5. NITI aayog launches ‘AI 4 All Global Hackathon’.
The NITI aayog has organized ‘AI 4 All Global Hackathon‘, a source of sustainable, innovative and technically capable solutions to address various challenges in the development space with the view of ‘Artificial Intelligence, AI for All’.
The NITI aayog is now partnering with Singapore-based AI Startup, Pearlin to launch ‘AI 4 All Global Hackathon’, and developers, students, start-ups and companies for significant positive social and economic impact for India. AI is inviting applications to develop.
6. Preeti Saran was elected to the United Nations Socio-Economic Cultural Panel.
Former senior Indian diplomat, Preeti Saran has been elected unopposed for the Asia Pacific seat on the United Nations Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (CESCR). Saran CESCR has been selected for a period of four years from 1st January 2019.
7. Union Minister Gehlot inaugurated the website of the media school ASME.
On the 62nd birth anniversary of BR Ambedkar, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Thawar Chand Gehlot launched the website of his first kind of media school, Dr. Bhim Rao Ramji Ambedkar School of Media Empowerment (ASME) to train Dalit and tribal youth in journalism.
8. Annual Startup India Venture Capital Summit 2018 was organized in Goa.
Ministry of Commerce and Industry and Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) in Goa Government hosted the annual Startup India Venture Capital Summit in Goa.
The theme of the Summit was ‘Mobilizing Global Capital for Innovation in India‘. This program demonstrated the Indian startup opportunity for investment from around the world. The main objective of the summit was to demonstrate the opportunities of India, to increase capital inflow for Indian startup and to promote ease of doing business.
9. Kolkata-Patna becomes India’s second container cargo sector on inland waterways.
India’s new inland water transport (IWT) is a native-destination pair for containerized cargo traffic at Kolkata-Patna National Waterway-1. After the success of sending container cargo from Kolkata to Varanasi earlier this year, Bihar’s capital Patna will be a new venue in India’s IWT region.

10. Luxembourg will become the first country to release public transport.
Luxembourg is the first country in all public transportation-free countries, this step will be implemented in 2020. The objective of this step is to address the problem of environmental issues and the crowd of traffic. Earlier, Luxembourg had started free transportation for all people under the age of 20.
