1. Organizing committee for a change in the rules of Rajya Sabha.

A two-member committee has been constituted for the purpose of automatic suspension of the member who deliberately blocked the proceedings of the House.

The committee will be chaired by Rajya Sabha Secretary General V.K. Agnihotri and will include retired Joint Secretary RS Dhaleeta of the Law Ministry.

2. Space X simultaneously launched 64 satellites.

Space X has launched 64 satellites simultaneously from the Vandenberg Air Force Base in California on December 03, 2018. This is a new record of launching so many satellites simultaneously by an American company.

3. A N Jha appointed new finance secretary of India.

India’s current expenditure secretary, Ajay Narayan Jha, was appointed the new finance secretary of the country on 04 December 2018. In a recent government order, it has been said that he will take over as the country’s new finance secretary. 59-year-old Ajay Narayan Jha of Tripura cadre is a 1982 batch IAS officer.

4. Luka Modric won the Ballon d’Or Award 2018.

Luka Modric won the Ballon d’Or of 2018 and won the prize. He ended the domination of two legendary footballers Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi for the last 10 years.

5. “PAISA” launched under De-NULM.

Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Shri Durga Shankar Mishra, a centralized electronic platform for interest subvention processing on bank loans to the beneficiaries under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojna (DAY-NULM) “PAISA – Portal for Affordable Credit and Interest Subvention Access “. All 35 states / UTs and all scheduled commercial banks, RRBs, and cooperative banks are expected to board the PAISA portal soon.

6. Vinesh Phogat, Sakshi Malik won a gold medal in the Women National Championship.

Vinesh Phogat and Sakshi Malik emerged as champions in the 57 kgs and 62kg titles, respectively, in the Tata Motors Senior Women National Championship.

7. ‘112 India’ mobile app ‘SHOUT’ was introduced.

Home Minister Rajnath Singh announced an all-India emergency mobile app ‘112 India‘ and said that special women protection facility ‘SHOUT‘ will be available to get immediate help from police and volunteers. It is linked to the emergency response support system (ERSS).

8. Jammu-Kashmir government launches AB-PMJAY plan.

Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik has launched an ambitious “Ayushman-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY)” scheme which will benefit more than 31 lakh people in the state.

AB-PMJE is the world’s largest healthcare scheme, aiming to provide portable coverage of Rs 5 lakh per family per year.

9. Delhi’s Minister Imran Hussain was given the PETA ‘Hero to Animal’ award.

Delhi Food Supply, Environment and Forests and Elections Minister Imran Hossain was honored with the People’s for the Ethical Treatment of Animal (PETA) -India for the ban on Chinese refreshments, or glass-coated kite threads throughout Delhi.

10. On December 4, Navy Day is celebrated.

Navy Day is celebrating India’s victory in the Indo-Pak war in 1971. In 1971, India had deployed 3 electric missiles on the border. After this, preparations for the attack on Karachi started 460 kilometers away on 4th December under Operation Trident.
