Bollywood actor Kader Khan dies at 81

Famous actor and writer of Indian cinema, Kader Khan died on 01 January 2019 He was 81 years old. Kader Khan had been running ill for a long time and had been admitted to a Canadian hospital for some time now.
“My dad has left us. He passed away on December 31 at 6 pm as per Canadian time due to prolonged illness. He slipped into the coma in the afternoon. He was in the hospital for 16-17 weeks”. Kader Khan’s son Sarfaraz told PTI.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted the tribute to Kader Khan and said that Kader Khan Ji brightened the screen with his superb acting skills and entertained everyone with his unique style. He was also a prolific screenwriter, associated with many memorable films. Saddened by his demise. Condolences to his family and admires.

About Life of Kader Khan:

Kader Khan was born in Kabul(Afghanistan) on October 22, 1937. His father was Abdul Rahman Khan of Kandahar, while his mother was Iqbal Begum from British India (now in Balochistan, in Pakistan), Peshin. Khan was raised in Kamtipura Mohalla of Mumbai. He enrolled at a local municipal school and later Ismail Yusuf College, after which he received Master of Engineering from the Institute specialized in Civil Engineering in India. Between 1970 and 1975, he became a Professor of Civil Engineering in M. Bacula. H. Sabu teaches in Siddiq College of Engineering.

Film Career:

In 1973, Kader Khan started his acting career with the film ‘Dag‘. In it, Rajesh Khanna was in the lead role. He has acted in more than 300 films in his film career and has also written dialogues in more than 250 films. Kadar Khan with Manmohan Desai writes many films like ‘Dharam Veer’, ‘Ganga Jamuna Saraswati’, ‘Coolie’, ‘Country Lovers’,’ Suhag ‘,’ Amar Akbar Anthony ‘and Mehra’ Volcano ‘,’ Guitar ‘,’ Unclaimed ” And ‘Muqaddar Ka Sikandar’.

Awards:

1. In 2013 Sahitya Shiromani Award for his work and contributions to Hindi Film industry and Cinema.
2. Khan was recognized twice by the AFMI (American Federation of Muslims from India) for his achievements and service to the Muslim community in India.
3. Filmfare Awards:
Best Dialogue for Meri Awaaz Suno in 1982.
Best Comedian for Baap Numbri Beta Dus Numbri in 1991.
Best Dialogue for Angaar in 1993.
