The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced a total of 151 Specialist Cadre vacancies, including 150 Trade Finance Officer (MMGS-III) positions and 1 Deputy Manager (Archivist) post.

Application Fees:
The application fee for the SBI Specialist Officer 2025 application must be paid online. Candidates from the General, EWS, and OBC categories are required to pay a fee of ₹750. While candidates from the SC, ST, and PWD categories are exempt from paying the application fee.
Education Qualification:
1. For Trade Finance Officer (MMGS-III) – Graduate in any discipline from Government recognized University or Institution AND Certificate in Forex by IIBF (certificate date should be latest by 31.12.2024). Mandatory post qualification experience of min 2 years in Trade Finance Processing as an executive in supervisory role in any Scheduled Commercial Bank including Foreign Bank.
2. For Deputy Manager (Archivist) – Post Graduate Degree in History with specialisation in Modern Indian History (Post 1750 AD Period) with minimum of 60% marks and above from a recognised University or equivalent. Mandatory post qualification experience of min 3 years as an Archival Professional in Central /State Governments/Corporates/Industrial Houses/Banks and Financial Institution Archives.
Age Limit:
For the post of Trade Finance Officer (MMGS-III) the prescribed age limit is 23 to 32 years and for Deputy Manager (Archivist) it is 27 to 37 years.
Selection Process:
The final selection will be based on shortlisting and interviews. An adequate number of candidates, determined by the bank based on minimum qualifications and experience, will be shortlisted for the interview. The interview will carry a total of 100 marks. The final merit list will be prepared solely based on the candidates’ performance in the interview.
